🚗🗳️ Attention Eagle Nation Community! 🗳️🚗
📍 Important Notice: April 2nd Election Venue Change to Charles A. Fassen Building! 📍
In our commitment to prioritize the safety of our students and staff, voting for the April 2nd Election will be held at the Charles A. Fassen Building, to limit the number of individuals in the main school building.
Here's what you need to know about parking:
🚫 Staff Parking: There will be no staff parking permitted around the Charles A. Fassen Building or in front of the elementary school on Election Day.
🅿️ Parking Options: Please refer to the attached map for designated voter parking areas around the campus. You're also welcome to park in the middle school parking lot.
♿ Accessibility: For those needing handicap accessibility, note that the rear entrance of the Fassen Building is fully accessible, while the front entrance has stairs.
Your participation is vital, but so is the safety of our community. Please spread the word and encourage everyone to vote safely.
Best Regards,
Matt Zoph
Superintendent of Schools

📢 Attention Parents and Community Members! 📢
Big news! Starting next year, we're introducing a monthly highlight just for you! Save the date for the final Friday of each month.
But hey, why wait until next year? We're launching a sneak peek in the last two months of this school year! Join us next Thursday (March 28) for our very first "Pastries with Parents" session, focusing on information about the federal Title program. Mrs. Eoff and Mr. Jeffries will be leading the discussion to help engage more families with the Title program requirements.
Let's kick-start the day right! Join us at 7:30 AM in the Fassen Building, just as you drop off your kids at school. We'll have coffee, breakfast drinks, and an array of delicious pastries for everyone to enjoy.
This is your chance to connect with fellow parents and learn something valuable for your child's education. See you there!

School board members are public servants elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts. As citizens who serve students and represent their communities, school board members face complex and demanding challenges.
March is School Board Recognition Month. Please take a moment to show these valuable volunteers you appreciate their service and sacrifice to Eagle Nation.

You can follow this link to access a PDF of Eagle Nation This Week: https://5il.co/2gblu

Say hello to our new elementary school nurse, Ms. Heather Wedde. Welcome to Eagle Nation.

In order to ensure safety of parents, students, and staff the Grandview R-II School District will have AMI Day 4 tomorrow, Friday, February 16.

Due to mechanical issues students who ride bus #5 will be dropped off by a different vehicle and possibly a different time.

Kindergartners recently learned about pushes, pulls, and force. They played golf to help learn about pushes and pulls. They applied force to push the ball through our tunnels into the hole. They also used teamwork and collaboration to help build their golf course using books.

Ms. Anderson will retire this year. I was able to sit down with her a while back and get her thoughts as she looked back at her time at Grandview. The link below will lead you to the result of that conversation.
